The St. Francois County Fair Housing Officer is a position appointed by the County Commissioners to reduce homelessness in the County by improving and facilitating landlord-tenant relations to moderate and resolve disputes informally between the parties. These residential disputes generally involve three areas, and St. Francois County has formulated a mediation service in one area, habitability, between landlord and tenants.
