St. Francois County Road and Bridge department has begun its mowing operations for the 2023 season. It should be noted that if any debris, vehicles, or obstructions are present in our areas to be mowed, we can not address those areas. Due to liability issues and safety issues related to our operators and the public as a whole we will be compelled to skip these areas. Should these obstructions impede traffic flow, site distances, or any safety related issues, we will contact law enforcement authorities. In summary, any area on our county roadways that are not practical for us to mow, these areas will be skipped and we will move on.
